I'm Reform, and I wouldn't put them with us because we believe in studying theology and then making our own choices consistent with what we learn and believe. We also don't judge people who make different choices from us. My congregation has people who range from keeping a kosher home to those who never met treif they didn't like. The latter includes our president, so I'm guessing we are pretty inclusive and non-judgmental on who eats what or who does what on Shabbat.

No just joking I wanted to update you all that I finally got hubby to apologize to me for calling me that.. We got to talk a lot to each other since then. And now if you can believe it, but it is true. As of today 11-24-08 I can say I love my husband too. LOL

Anyway, All is forgiven! And we are on a clean slate!
Of course he knows he is on strike 2.... LOL So there has been some serious ass kissing on his part. And he has a whole lot more to kiss.

anyways...my personal feelings on it, I was raised a catholic...however I refused to go to church and I refused to do anything religious (except christmas for the presents lol)...my parents hated it, but I didn't care..
I think the big issue with me believing IMO such nonsense is my love for Science and Mathematics.
So many things about the bible and God make 0 sense....first off...the earth was created 6,000 years ago?...I THINK NOT.... we have rocks older than that..

I think there is a difference between believing in God and observing a tradition/practicing a ritual. You can do one without the other.

This is because the bible is just mythology, no different from Greek mythology or Egyptian mythology or Native American mythology.
Some people can still believe in a god or some kind of higher power and have a philosophy of life they follow (be just and good, because we're all in this together), and that doesn't have to have anything to do with the Judeo-Christian bible stories. So they can still be spiritual or religious, but intellectual enough to understand that there was no talking snake, like there was no Pandora's box.
