Yesterday Bob, MIL & I took a road trip to Wooster Ohio to
Take advantage of some Amish Deals like cheeses and Fruits
Which I can still have in limited amounts.
And to have dinner at a place called "The Barn"
It is a huge piece of land with a huge pond fille with fish & ducks and they have a Gazebo with machines filled with duck/fish food for 25 cents a pop. Plus a huge Barn that was turned into a buffet place
Salad buffet upstairs with menu items. And downstairs a full buffet with all sorts of goodies.
Seeing is as I am only allowed to eat salad, we had the salad buffet
And because it is Amish Owned, everything is fresher and yummier, lol
Cause all their food is home grown, Nothing bottled or canned.
Anyway,.Its a great place to take the family, and of course on nice days which yesterday was, the place was crawling with kids.
Ok, so after we ate, we walked over to the huge pond to feed the ducks. Of course my Bob likes feeding the fish more then he likes the ducks, So I try to distract the ducks while he feeds the fish, lol
Anyway, as I said, their are little feed machines for duck food for a quarter scattered around the Gazebo.
And Bob had put a quarter in to get himself some duck food.
Well along comes this little boy around 10 years old up to the machine and puts his hands by the end of the steel trap where the food comes out and looks at Bob and says to Bob "Thank you".
Bob says to the kid, no no no no this is not for you, I want to feed the ducks too.
The little kid just looked at him weird and walked away.
I wish I could have seen it, I would have LMAO.
( I had wandered off to a different part of the Gazebo)
What a self indulged little brat to think that every adult there is to please him & give him duck food just because he is a kid??
I don't think so, and I was so very proud of Bob to say NO too.
Now with my MIL there Bob had to cover his tracks and say "well if the kid was homeless yea I would have let him have the food", but hell no. If his parents can afford to take him here, then he ain't homeless. And what kind of parent lets a kid run around talking to strangers in the first place?
GRRRRRR
This is one fucked up world when it comes to kids of today, that is for sure.
But I thought it was so funny that Bob was not going to let that kid take his duck food, lol
Good for BOB!
