I ordered this on line today. I first have to wait and see if it's "approved". If it is, it should arrive within 8 - 10 weeks.

To be honest, I'm a bit surprised it was available.
Sweet!
Hope it gets approved. Big Grin
Wow, that's cool! I bet if I had that plate here in San Diego someone would key my car.
lol that's a good one.

I really hope that it gets approved.
Yeah, mine would get some random "abortion is murder" shit left on mine down here.

I did see a Texas Pet Friendly plate at Petsmart last weekend that said "FixEm" fuckin' awesome, I wish I had thought of that!
Good luck with that, hope it gets approved. Really nice, and like others have said, im sure if I had something like that on my car, it would get keyed or some other crap would happen to it. People can be so rude. especially breeders.

For a while I had a "CFGirl" license plate on my truck, but no one really got it. Then I got the bumper sticker that said "Childfree and Proud of It". That got quite a few questions in parking lots and such. I never got any hostility though, more just curiosity about what it meant.

I've been thinking of another vanity plate, maybe something like "NoKids" or get the "Thinker" one (Two Healthy Incomes, No Kids, Early Retirement). I haven't decided if I want to pay the extra for it though.

I did get some angry remarks over the sticker I had with the Yellow ribbon that said "We support the guy in China selling these idiotic magnets".

Drat it, I can't open it! I can't get a program to come up that will open it. What does it say?
PG - it says CHLDFREE

LOVE IT!!! I hope you get it!! I'm excited for you - I would love something like that!

I had stickers made (that I offered up to our NK group) that said:
ChildFree
More Freedom ~ More Fun

I've had a few comments on mine, mostly approval ! I like the sticker that says "if you can't feed'em don't have'em" or something to that effect, but I know it will draw too much negative attention.

My license plate is a big shocker.....GR8PYRZ Smile

"If you can't feed 'em,
Don't breed 'em."

Very amusing. Do guys get asked about kids as much as women? You guys have probably discussed this before but since I'm new...When the guy who works next to me came to work here, about a year ago he assumed I had kids. He asked what I was going to do w/the upcoming weekend & before I could answer he said spend more time w/the kids? I said whaaattt??? Why would you assume I have kids, because I'm a woman?? The stupid part is he & his wife are childfree too!

Love the saying but that never stopped them because they know we taxpayers will have to pay for them.

Most of us are women - but I can say from my perspective, yes, most people assume I have kids. When they find out I don't they don't know what to talk about anymore!

Vic

How sad they have nothing else in their minds. When people start talking about kids I head off in another direction. But I've always trained people around me all my life. No kids & don't want to talk about them. Ha!

Awesome, let us know if it gets approved.
So sorry to be late to this thread NKB. I love the new plate you
ordered. I hope it gets approved.
I just hope no one messes up your car over it.
It is a bold jesture to have that as your license plate.
But I love it just the same.
Kudo's to you & Goodluck

Vic Just FYI My hubby gets the 3rd degree (at his new job) at times.
He too is asked if he has kids, and when he happily says "no we don't"
The majority of them are honest enough to say, "Lucky you", lol
So, not all men are happy to be fathers even when they are fathers, lol.
Just the other side of the coin in case you wanted to know, lol
Since DH is a carpenter he changes job sites pretty regularly. He gets asked quite a bit about kids and he also gets a lot of honest "lucky you" responses to his NO. Sometimes the guys ask why. He has never gotten any flack for it though.
I've gotten very few negative comments about being childfree from men. Women seem to be more offended especially when they realize I am in my mid-30s and don't have children and don't want them.
Here it is!

While registering the plates yesterday, the lady at the counter asked if my kids were off to college. Is that why I chose that plate. I said, no. It's because I don't have kids. She just smiled.

Then, as I got out of the car at the liquor store, a lady walking her dog said, "Love the license plate!" She too asked if I had shipped my kids off to college to which I again replied, "No. I don't have any" and she said, "Even better. Love it".

I'm a bit offended by the "kids off to college" comments. I don't think I look old enough to have college aged kids. What an insult Smile
