Yep today is our 23rd wedding anniversary. And I sit here typing away, what fun! LOL
No I am just joking.
In spite of the fact that I will be spending my anniversary alone tonight. I did have a very nice day.
DH did not have to go to work till 7PM tonight.
So we got to have a very nice lunch together courtesy of my best friend who sent us a $30 GC to "Ruby Tuesdays"
We both ate a very healthy salad and had some pasta to go with it.
And I splurged and had a real Pina Colada Drink! YUM! ( hic) LOL
Anyway, poor DH had no idea of his work schedule till it was too late.
So, he had our anniversary plans all mapped out for yesterday.
And, I must say he did an excellent job of surprising me!
He took us to Thistledown Race Track and we spent a good part of the day there oogling the horses and betting & winning & losing, lol
But all in all we had fun & that is more important then winning? LOL
just kidding!

Anyway, after the race track we went to a local suburb that celebrates their community days every year around our anniv.
So DH got to pig out on all his fav carnival foods.
Italian Sausage Samichs and fried mushrooms and steak samichs lol He had a good time pigging out.
AND Yes he does know it is all bad for him, but he did not care. This is HIS one day a year to pig out. I cannot eat that crap anymore, cause grease upsets my tummy. But I did splurge and had a real ICE CREAM CONE
YUM!
That WAS a BIG treat for me.
After the Carnival we were dog tired so we came home and had just enough energy for some whoopie
And that was our exciting Sunday!
So now we are on #23 and counting. Please wish us luck.. We will need it! LOL
