Who is it? She sounds quite irritating.

Giagirl. She got booted from the board years ago. She is irritating.

She is not inspiring me in my quest for employment.
I wonder what the comments were, probably people really annoyed with her.

That is too funny. She thinks she deserves her own TV show. Hahahahaha! I needed that laugh.

Wow. She hasn't changed a bit. Loves to talk about that six-figure salary... even though it's no more. LOL

Love the disabled comments section. Come on--a person posts this and then doesn't have the thick skin to get the feedback?

This one's even better. Always going on about being a size two. Whatever.

Those thighs are not a 2........sorry. I work with a few size 2s and 4s and their legs are about as large as my arms.

No kidding.
02-06-2012, 06:14 PM
80 videos on her YouTube channel
02-06-2012, 06:37 PM
Yea. She's a little self absorbed.

Is that her real voice or is it the cutesy voice she uses for videos/attention? I am asking because I have a friend that has quite a normal womanly voice, yet around people especially men, she gets squeaky--almost baby like talk. So odd for a middle-aged woman.

I occasionally use a higher-pitched voice, but I use it when I'm in serious need of help, and I usually limit it to ", could you help me for a minute?" I prefer not to, but I learned in university that when I really needed the prof or TA's attention then that was the best way. Usually the following line was "My neighbour's project is up in flames" or "There has been a complete system crash", and now I use it at work when there is something of a crisis, so I don't use it often. I learned this technique by watching a friend of mine, whose voice is pitched naturally that way (she's a teeny woman), get faster attention in a large group of men. I don't understand those who use it as a normal part of conversation.

The voice is annoying. All those videos? It's amazing someone could be that self-absorbed.

Really?? Well no wonder! I viewed just 30 seconds of it and then I had enough. She seemed very narcistic to me. So she said that she was laid off. She had to be let go because she's so annoying.
Well at least I hope she's still childfree. Could you imagine having a mother like that? How about a girlfriend or wife like that?

I don't know... I have 167 videos on my personal channel, and another 50+ on another collab channel I'm on. YouTube is like blogging (it's called vlogging) for some people. It would be like saying that the more you comment here on the board, the more self-absorbed you are. I think it's just some people's preferred method of communication.
She still irritates the fuck out of me, though. I'm not sticking up for her, more for me. ROFL

Sorry - I didn't mean having a lot of YT videos is self-absorbed - HER videos in particular are very self-absorbed. They seem to be just her talking. About herself and her opinions.
02-08-2012, 08:51 PM
That's what Jo does as well
(talk about herself and her opinions)
Jo has interesting opinions and a fun life, and I think a good chunk of your videos are about your hobbies, no? I haven't seen many of them, but there were a chunk of 'how to' videos, or about your travels, or... I think the difference is that Jo doesn't complain endlessly in an annoying voice about how the world is out to get her. Which makes all the difference!

I don't remember her, and, frankly, I'm glad, lol. I do agree with her "live your passion" premise, though. That's why I went into writing rather than marketing.
