Yep I just ordered it up today.
Boot's nails have gotten too sharp for me to handle.
And even though I will be taking him to the vet for a trim next week.
By the time the I get this thing mailed to me, I know he will need another trim. And I am not about to keep taking him to the vet every single time he needs a trim.
So, I hope this all works out for me.
And I will keep you all posted as to how I my new Peticure works on cats!

Good luck with that! I hate cutting pets' nails.
Please keep this post updated!! I have a shephard/mutt that HATES having her toenails clipped. She weighs about 60 lbs & DH has to completely lay on top of her & bear hug her while I attempt to do the trimming. It is a NIGHTMARE!! This old, overweight dog is like a kid on crack when we try to do this. blah.
I'm extremely happy with my Peticure. Every Saturday is Peticure day! It's actually fun, especially since I don't have to worry about Guinevere getting hurt. When DH used the regular Dremel tool, she'd try to bite it and that was so scary. Now she can't get hurt when she lunges at it Peticure because it's safely covered. The other two dogs are totally fine with it, it's just that Guinevere hates her paws being touched at all, it's a Pug trait.
I bought mine a month or 2 ago, and nothing. So I assumed it was on back-order, and contacted them twice and they ignored me. That was by email, since I'm living overseas. My sister called them and they finally said yeah it'll get here sometime, I don't know when.
I'm not happy with their customer service, so I hope I like the product better. If I ever get it.
I'm glad everyone likes theirs though, so maybe when I get it it'll be worth the wait!
Keep us posted. With 4 pets it'd be great to not have to use the clipper tools- they HATE those.
One of the dogs especially hates having his nails done and whimpers and cries just seeing the clippers! It's so pitiful to see the "brave" dog so terrified of nail clippers

Well when I ordered mine, I KNEW I would be waiting a long time for it.
So I took Boots Back to Petsmart where his foster step mother was there. She still knows him as Buddy. But I corrected her, lol
And she told me Boots was good as gold, and did not give her a hard time at all.
Two min. later she was done. And we just put $10 in the tip jar for the adoption center.
Boy oh boy they had some cute Tabby's there that Sat afternoon.
Some of them could have been Boot's kids, lol
They looked just like him, awwwwww

But Boots was happy to get home that day.
And BTW I had no troubles getting him into the carrier.
I sort of fooled him into going in on his own.
I threw a toy in there and he went after it, lol
I am a tricky mommy, lol
I just hope I get my Peticure BEFORE Boots is due for another trim.
I couldn't stand to wait anymore - I ordered one, too!! I'm hoping it'll be a lot easier than clippers.
TW - have you gotten yours yet? I still haven't gotten mine. I don't think they've charged my credit card yet, though. I am just getting antsy.
I got mine, and it is taking forever to show any progress in my dogs nails. But, I guess they just got that thick and long. They don't care for it but they really don't fight me on it. I'm doing a little bit on their nails each day. I suppose it'll take some time but they'll get down to a proper length eventually.
NO I have not gotten MINE YET!!!!! Sharon g. I was wondering if you got yours?
I see now that you did not.
They did not charge my credit card yet. So I am still in limbo too,(sigh)
But to be fair it has not been 8 weeks yet.
As soon as I get it I will let you know.
Now I wonder.... WHO will be first?? LOL
By my calculations I got 4 more weeks to wait, (sigh) LOL
Hi Sharon G did you get your Peticure yet? I am STILL waiting for mine.
I tried calling the company and they said I should get it at the end of July.
So I got 7 more days to wait.
But the good news is they have not charged me for it yet.
But I do still have my order #.
So with any luck I will get it soon. (sigh)
Sorry for the late response. I got mine last week, and they charged my credit card after I had received it. Two of my pets really don't need the trimmings, but Rustie, my shep. mix needs it bad. Using clippers has always been a MAJOR ordeal. She isn't too fond of the peticure, but once I used it for a few minutes she didn't put up as much of a fight. I had to let her get use to it before I used it on her. I let her sniff it, and then I would turn it on & off around her so she would get use to the noise & vibration. It's not to hard to use as long as the paw isn't moving around a lot.

Thanks for he reply Sharon G I am
STILL waiting for mine! (sigh)
I sure hope to get it sometime this year!
If I don't get it by tomorrow. I am calling the company
AGAIN

I am so mad I am about to explode.
I just got off the phone with the people that send out these peticures.
They claimed my credit card denyed my purchase therefore they did NOTHING in the way of contacting me to see what the problem was.
I KNOW for a fact that there is nothing wrong with my credit card
as it is hooked up to my automatic RX's and I have a 6K limit on it And I know it is no where at that limit.
They said I could call my CC company and get it fixed and then call them back and then wait another 8 weeks for delivery.
I told them in so not so many words to fuck off! And just cancel the whole order.
Since they never charged my account anyway. And I never got the product.
I did ask them why they never bothered to call me.
She had no reply.
Oh well,
It is just as well. Boots does not mind going for a visit to see aunt Marge.. The lady that clips his nails at Petsmart.
And I will just take him again this week.
ITMT, if anyone out there as any suggestions on what kind of nail clippers to buy I am all ears! LOL
TW- I use nail pet nail clippers like the ones on the left in this picture:
http://www.petsmart.com/product/index.js...Id=2751498
They work great and are super easy on cat nails. In fact, I just cut the cats' nails a couple of weeks ago without any fuss at all!
Now only if the dogs were so easy!
So my peticure is starting to show results. My dogs nails have been SOOO long. They still don't seem to care for the peticure but they deal with it. Their nails are finally getting to where they don't touch the floor when the stand. I read that they aren't supposed to. So they still look long but they are finally looking much, much better! I'm glad I stuck with it.
TW - I had an issue at first too, my sister ended up calling them for me since I'm overseas, she said they didn't seem like the had the best customer service. They coulda sent out an email at least!
Is the peticure loud? I'm worried it would sound like a Dremel and there's no way my dogs would let that near them...
Oscar is fine with his nails being cut but the groomer doesn't cut much at all off even when I ask them to cut them *short*. The vet has also done his, but they are still on the long side. Even when we walk every day his nails just stay long. He's also a digger and a lot of the marks on the furniture and carpet around the house are from him getting excited and digging.
Harley screams when he sees the clippers. I wish I was exaggerating. He might be ok if we condition him to like the peticure, but the nail clippers are a no go for us and very difficult at the vet's office.
I was able to clip the cats' nails last week without a problem. They only have their back nails and only one of them has long nails anyway, but I trimmed them all to get them used to it.
We're still debating whether to replace our carpet with tile or laminate and we both want laminate but one of the big concerns is scratches from the dogs' nails. Hopefully the peticure can overcome that!
Side note: I called my credit card company just to be on the safe side. They said my credit is perfect ( as I knew it was)
I have a limit of 12K I thought it was 6K so it must have grown, lol
Thankfully I am no where near owing either number.
But they also said that a charge for the Peticure was
NEVER put through.
So someone at the Peticure Cust Service base
LIED to me

I have a mind to write them a very angry letter.
But, I know they will ignore it and delete it, so why bother.
Thanks Kirby for the nail clipper idea.
I may just look into that.

TW - I'm sorry to hear about Peticure doing that to you! How awful.
Kirby - it's a little louder on higher speeds, but from what I've heard it's not near as loud as a dremmel.
