I freely confess I am not up on the entertainment industry, so I have no clue if any show has ever been set in Canada. However, there's an Ontario in California, so maybe they could start there and gradually ease the brain-dead public into grasping there are other nations, and quite nearby, too!
Too funny:
High Park and Parkdale are very well known Toronto areas - both are mentioned in the undercover episode of Rookie Blue. But I guess if you're not familiar with Toronto, you wouldn't know that nor would you even notice the mention of them.

And "High Park" probably sounds like "Hyde Park" to some, which is a Chicago neighborhood. And "Parkview" could be anywhere! -- it sounds like one of those generic subdivisions, like Deer Park, Forestview, etc.
I know, they're both pretty generic names. I don't think I've seen the CN Tower yet. That would be a dead give away but maybe they're avoiding showing it to keep it more anonymous.
OK - you guys couldn't have missed the CN Tower, The Skydome and the Canadian money in last night's episode, right?
Now that I know what to look for! It's annoying they don't say it's Canada. I just always think of it that way now.

I missed the whole episode, DAMN, lol. I forgot all about it.
I hope ABC has it on line?
I will try to catch up later with it, if they do.
Season Finale this week. I'm still loving this show.
Are you guys still watching?
I find McNally extremely wussy, Peck is a bitch, Diaz is a bozo, and they tell us WAY too much about their messed-up personal lives. Shut up and do your damn jobs.
Oh, and the child-burdened Nash. I would like her so much better without "fricking Leo."
I have to agree with you and IMO, if anyone fucked up as much as McNally has so far, their ass would be grass.
I still like it though

You're right. McNally ought to be dead three times already.
We're still watching it also. We like some of the older cops.
I like Swarek and that other guy - the one who got shot. I don't remember his name.
Shaw. I just looked it up.
Good finale. What did y'all think?

Yeah, we really enjoyed it too, but we were so surprised it wasn't a cliff-hanger! They are coming back, aren't they?
It was good to see McNally finally woman up, and Peck act human, and Nash discover it's not about everyone else, it's about her. But it's still way TMI on their personal lives.
And until we watched this one, we thought "Dov" was "Doug."
It is coming back - at least here in Canada it is. It was picked up for season two after only three episodes had aired.
Ve seen the promos for the upcoming season. I'm not impressed.
All they talk about is who they slept with. Ugh. I hope that's not the direction the show is going in.
BORING.

LOL the show lost me due to bordom 2 epps going in.
I hope you enjoy the next season.
Of all shows they bring back is this one??? And ITMT
shows like "No Ordinary Family" gets the ax.
Oh well, I guess I can really pick 'em, lol

I finally got around to watching the first episode of season two. I was impressed. It was pretty good.
I still think Swarek is HOT HOT HOT! You could tell in this episode that he really, really cares about McNally. He's almost ready to give up going back to the Guns and Gangs unit in order to be close to her. Awwww - so sweet.
Another good episode, albeit, predictable.
I knew instantly when Andy found the ring, it was actually Luke's previous fiancee's. :eyeroll: Can we please be more original.
Good ending though. Poor Luke. Again: predictable.
