Start telling him to get rid of his crap. It's quid-pro-quo! So long as you "let him" get rid of your stuff, without penalty, he has no reason to stop wanting to get rid of your stuff.
Agreed. I went through a phase of this with BJ for a while. She was always hiding or donating my stuff. The last time she did it, I told her she had just given me carte blanche to buy every book I ever wanted. She hasn't done it since.
