DH and I are thinking of buying a flat-screen with WiFi included (a Vizio at Sam's club). Can you access the full internet, or just certain built-in apps?

Mainly, DH and I would want to access networks that offer full episodes, for the days when we miss a show we like. Like, say, going to ABC.com to watch an episode of Gray's Anatomy.
This is not exactly the device you are asking about... but...
I have used an LCD connected to my computer and modem and would never go back to tube TV.
I almost never watch network TV and getting the programs when I want on demand for no cost is magical.
PG. I hope you research the brand name before you buy.
I saw those Vizio's at Sam's club too. And Yes they are a good price and they do look great. But, before I buy one I will make doubly sure its a good name brand. And if it has a semi decent warr.
Personaly I like Sony's or Panasonic the best over any other brand.
But as the old saying goes
"You get what you pay for" so please be careful & Goodluck
I know nothing about computers or tv, but we do have something that connects the Internet to the tv.
It has a keypad and mouse and has all the same stuff as our regular computers do. The only problem I have is that you have to be sitting pretty close to the tv in order to get the mouse and keypad to work. I also don't have a clue how to hook it up and get it all turned on... I'll ask my fiance tomorrow what it is and get back to you with better info.
