I have tickets to see WLIIA? LIVE!!!! The show isn't until October but I snapped up two amazing seats right away and I am crazy excited.

I have no idea how they work the host bit during the live show, but the actors include Ryan Stiles, Greg Proops, Chip Esten and Jeff Davis. Super sad to not see Colin or Wayne, but oh well.

Has anyone else seen the live production?
Whoa that is awesome! I love those guys!
Last I read Colin and Brad did a tour together doing shows.
Yes, I saw it live when it came to Hamilton several years ago, and LOVED it. It was Colin, Brad, Wayne and Greg and I think Ryan was there too. I can't remember.... It was all the big names though. WELL worth the money, those guys are so good at what they do!!

I also saw Wayne Brady one time doing a show of his own. He's awesome. I think my favourites are Ryan and Colin though. Have you seen the sketch they did with Richard Simmons on the actual show? I thought I was never going to stop laughing...

I loved that show too!
Too bad they discontinued it on network TV.
We saw the one with Colin and Brad a few years ago. Colin actually used one of DH's suggestions for a sketch. It was great! I hope that tour comes here. I loved all the original people.
I think Ryan and Colin are my faves too! I LOVED the Richard Simmons one too. Man I miss that show!
I am very happy for you bellis_coldwine I hope you enjoy the show.

BTW in case know one knows this Wayne Brady is Hosting the Brand New Lets Make A Deal On GSN
Boy has that show gone through its own revisions due to the economy. But it is still fun to watch and I still like Wayne too.
I use to watch WLIIA But, after a while I got bored with it.
It was good when Drew use to be on it.
I enjoy Drew Cary a lot as well.
OMG! That is awesome! I hope you have loads of fun!

My favorites are Colin and Wayne, hands down. My BF and I have it in our queue and are re-watching it. I think we're going to watch the British series, too. That's where I discovered Greg, who is also amazing!

I used to be part of an improv troupe, back in the 90s. It's really, really difficult, but SO much fun!

I've done improv a few times, and YEAH... it is NOT for the faint of heart! I remember Stephen Colbert gave in his commencement speech when he got his honourary doctorate... a bit about improv. Said in improv, you MUST accept what the other person is saying as true and add to it. It's the "Yes, And" philosophy of life. The improv can't continue if one character says, "I'm a doctor" and the other improviser says "No you are not". He has to say, "Yes, and I'm a lawyer" and on it goes. Colbert said that so long as you say YES to everything life throws your way and add an "AND" to add to it, you will be fine.
That's a really good philosophy and I use it elsewhere in my life. Smile

...And so true for improv!

I have never laughed so hard in my life as when I saw that Richard Simmons bit. I would love to see those guys live.
