Well I did it gang, I finally joined a gym.
I signed up with Ballys heath club today.
They are open 7 days a week
And in the they have later hours too.
I just came home from swimming ( with my brand new swim suit)
And I did 12 laps today. And I am beat.
I know that is not a lot of laps. But for me it is. Cause I have not been in a pool for over 2 years.
OMG My body feels like on worn out dish rag, lol
I signed up with them cause, they offered a month to month basis. But,
The BIGGEST selling feature IMHO was that their are no kids are allowed their facility at all! So when I heard that I asked where to I sign, LOL, Cause for me that news was super SWEEEEET! To hear
No more noisy splashing brats around to ruin my focus on my work out.
Plus the price was right too. It was only $26 a month
Plus, I have privileges to everything there too.
Like all their machines and stuff. Maybe next time I go I may take a look to see what they all have.
The only reason I did not look today was cause the gym is on the second floor and I did not feel like climbing steps with my bad knees. Which is why swimming is so much better for me cause it makes my knees feel better.
Anyway all I really want is use of the pool.

And trust me once the snow starts to fly,
I can freeze my membership to $4 a month for the months that I don't go Or I can cancel it all together.
But, I will wait and see till then.
But ITMT they do have a great pool.
And the temp of the water is not like bath water either. Not like how Brookparks pool use to be. Plus when I called on Brookpark
Their fee's went up. And they do not do monthly rates
So it would have to have paid them $325 for a year.
No way, I did not want to pay that.
This way with Ballys, if I go the whole 6 months up to Nov. I will only be paying a total of $156 That is far better then $325 plus having to deal with brats all summer long?! No thank you, LOL

I am tired, but it is a happy tired. Smile
Awesome! I'm looking for a place to swim, too, but everywhere is so bloody expensive. Sad
