I've been flooding the market with my resume. I mail to companies first, and if there's no action, I got to headhunters. I dread dealing with headhunters, but that's the way it goes in bad times. I'm at the headhunters' stage now. I had an appointment to go to a couple today to meet and be tested.
At the morning appointment, the counselor had a job opening available at a local company. He set up an appointment for me to to be interviewed at the company later this week. He said they are looking for someone on a long term basis. His next statement had me wondering, though. He said the company is looking for someone long term, meaning someone who will stay with the company longer than three months and someone who won't cause problems.
Thgings that make you go "Huh?". I'm wondering if the company is a crappy place to work at or if it was just headhunter gum flapping. How would you take a statement like that?
