Boots just expressed his desire for more independence today as he came up to be with me on our new couch ( to which he adores But I am saving that story for another time)
And came to lay on me like he always does. But instead, decided to lay in the middle pillow of the couch. All in one swell movement. He walked on top of me turned around on me rubbing my chin and then left to settle in the middle of the pillow. All the while looking right at me.
So I told him I understand what he was trying to tell me.
He is a big boy now 4 years old he wants more independence So I won't be your pillow for you anymore. Come to think about it he has shortened his morning time laying on me too these past few days, lol. So, I think he has outgrown it. My baby is all grown up.
Yep a poster said they grow so fast. And I already missed his kitten years. Whoever had him as a tiny baby did a good job with him.
I anyway I digress, I am not too upset about all of this, Cause quite frankly, he starts to weigh a ton on my stomach and boobs, and he starts to hurt me. So in a way I am glad. But I do miss him for the first 5 min anyway, lol. But I understand he has outgrown me. I just think it was so funny how he tried to communicate with me. And In a non hostile way this time.
Keeping in mind he still has his claws and I found out the hard way and overstepped my motherly ways in petting his tummy, when he wanted no part of it. And now my wrist will have a permanent scar cause of it, lol
He grabbed my arm with his front paws and wailed on me with his back paws. Making sure I knew he was in charge at that moment, lol.
Daddy said I had it coming, I say he did not give me any warning sign at all like he normally does. So we just agreed to disagree lol
But anyway, this is mommy saying goodbye to my baby
And hello to my little cat-man!
