1. Do you own a Toyota? No.
2. Would you consider buying one in the next year? Why or why not? I'm considering it due to the cheap-factor, as PG points out. But they don't really make a model I love. I like the Matrix but there are so few used available in AWD. That's the only model that interests me.

1. No.
2. Hell no. I prefer European cars, I've had a Volvo and it was really a great car, then I got a Mini Cooper and it's also a great car. The only reason I got rid of the Volvo was because I always wanted a Mini, and I couldn't have both.

1. No
2. For the longest time, I've wanted a Rav 4. But that is because I want a 4 cyl light truck. And there are others out there. I wouldn't necessarily rule them out. But I would do more research before settling with them.

(1) No
(2) Like JMK said; I wanted a Rav 4. I wanted a 2-door because it looked perfect for me. I saw one on the road one time and my mouth just watered. At that time I was looking for a new vehicle (2 years ago). But they had that model in 4-door, so I said forget it.
Also, I would be worried about recall. That incident of the floor mat sticking to the gas pedal and then the driver could not slow down or stop happened here in San Diego.

1. No.
2. No, only because I prefer muscle cars and Toyota doesn't make any models I really like. I'd much rather have a Ford Mustang or Cobra, or the new Dodge Challenger.

1. Do you own a Toyota?
Yes, I have a Corolla
2. Would you consider buying one in the next year? Why or why not?
No, My car is still fairly new and I like to get my money's worth out of it. Although, if/when I do buy another car, it will probably be a Toyota. I still think they are good cars, and all car makers have to do recalls occassionally (and I think Toyota is only 16 or 17 on the list of car makers with the most recalls).

I have a 2008 Toyota Prius and I have never had any problems with it. I don't want to get a new car, I don't see a need to get one. It isn't part of the recall.

1. No.
2. No, because I don't plan on buying another car for a long time. Besides, like Koi mentioned, I like sports cars and none of Toyota's appeal to me. If I have my way, my next car will be a Honda S2000.

1. No
2. No. DH is a mechanic & I get vehicles he works on. He's not a big Toyota fan right now, and he will NOT work on a Ford.

1. Do you own a Toyota?
Not at the moment. I had a 1987 Toyota Corolla which I bought new. I sold it 2 years ago for $500 because the AC was broken. The guy who owns it now is in the area and I still see the car occasionally. I'm pissed that he stuck Tea Party bumper stickers on it! That car did not deserve that, LOL. It was a good little car.
2. Would you consider buying one in the next year? Why or why not?
Nope. I still have a perfectly good 2005 Honda Civic hybrid which is paid off. I would love another Toyota someday, but not until they get that accelerator problem fixed!

1. Do you own a Toyota?
NO not anymore. We did lease one back in March of 1997 But that was a long time ago. When none of this negative press was ever out on Toyota, lol
2. Would you consider buying one in the next year? Why or why not?
HELL NO! Not after what I know about the brakes and all.
My luck I would get one that was never recalled, LOL.
That is thei kind of bad luck that happens just to me.

Yes. We have two, 1988 Celica and 92 Previa.
Yes, but not for many years, when we'll get a hybrid.

1. Do you own a Toyota?
-No, but I drove one in high school and (the same Toyota) for a few years College. I decided to sell it and went w/o a car for a number of years.
I LOVED that Toyota! It never broke-down once.
2. Would you consider buying one in the next year? Why or why not?
-No.
I am currently driving a Nissan and I love it. I pay off my cars very quickly (within a year or so) and I run my cars into the ground. I hang onto cars as long as I can. I absolutely hate car payments. I would definitely consider buying a Toyota in the future though.
