One or both? Dominant arm or not? Yes - very curious here. Did you injure it many years ago or have something happen? I ask so much because my left elbow is going to shit and I am right-handed and have never, that I can remember, injured it.
Of course, all the best for a speedy recovery for you.

LOL Jo good one..
Hey elsebee I wish you loads of luck for success. I had ulnar neuropathy (sp?) surgery on my right arm and elbow back in 1998. It did not go well.
Thus why I am on constant medication for pain management.
I wish you tons of luck and that you fair 100 times better then I did.

Right-only, dominant arm.
Did you injure it many years ago or have something happen?
Fell over a lumpy hotel carpet last spring while on vacation.

I'm a big advocate of repair-centered surgery. We counted the other night and, at 57, I've had 11 surgeries, mostly on joints, to fix things. I absolutely will not live with pain or limitations. Sometime in the next couple of years I'll need my left thumb reconstucted. Sign me up!

Wow, you are one tough person! I'm glad you've had good results with your surgeries so far. Hope this recovery continues to go smoothly

Is that true? We can have replacement of the knees and elbows and we don't have problems any more. Replacing knees and elbows are painful or not? This can be done in what age? My grand mom is about 65 yrs and she have same problem with her knees, can she have her knees replacement?
Your suggestion will be appreciated.

I've heard nothing but good about joint replacement. 100% recovery is normal provided you do the therapy. So far I have only had what I would call minor discomfort while healing. But I think attitude has a lot to do with it. I enjoy hospitals and procedures. I ask a lot of questions and trust my caregivers to do their best, and I make every effort to promote my own healing. Take meds, rest, communicate, do therapy and you'll get the best results.

Mark My cousin in law is in her 60's and she had a double knee replacement surgery operation a few months back.
She is now fully recovered and walking like a pro.
She says its the best thing she ever did for herself. Plus she lost a ton of weight with it as well.
So she is one happy camper.
But, your grand mom needs to speak to a competent DR first before she decides this course of action for herself

to you bothElsbee: Glad to see you back in typing mode. Kudos to you. How are your pain levels doing?
On a scale of 1-10 where 1 is great no pain and 10 is I want to die please kill me it hurts so bad.. Where is your pain level at??
I hope your at a 1 lol

After a work day, splint removal day, and another work day, I came home and slept 14 hours! However, everything is still working just like it should. It's nice to see my arm again and quit itching.
