About the only thing I won from Vegas was a free trip to the drugstore to
pick up some cold meds.
I know everyone has had the cold in one form or fashion
But this one came with a very annoying dry hacking cough that I just cannot get rid of.
I tried all kinds of cough meds.
Now I had to try this new stuff Called Musinex DM
I took one dose and I am still coughing.. But to be fair it is only one dose.
So, with any luck I can get rid of this cough in a few more days.
ITMT my head aches and I feel worn out from all this coughing.
Plus with my allergies still around I still manage to sneeze myself to death as well.
Someone please shoot me and take me out of my misery, lol.
So has anyone else had a nasty cold this year? I know my BFF had the same thing. Only her's was in the beginning of Feb. And no she could not have given it to me, as she live in ILL, LOL.
Anyway, now its my turn to suffer, lol.

Musinex works well to loosen up the congestion. You'll still cough, in fact you may cough more because your body is trying to get it out of your lungs. I've never really found any magic cold medicine once I have a cold but I have found ways to keep from getting it or reduce the symptoms. If I start to get a scratchy throat or my coworkers have colds, I'll start to drink more orange juice and sometimes take one of those Airborne tablets to further boost my vitamin c levels. It seems to work to either keep me from getting a cold or reduce the time I have a cold once I get it.
