Have you ever had an orgasm while sleeping?

This has happened to me quite a few times and it's usually triggered by a sexy dream. I'm lucky enough to wake up during the orgasm and actually remember it and enjoy it. It happened to me just this morning. Beats an alarm clock any day.

Any other women out there experience this?
No..I have sexual dreams, but I never actually reach that point. I am jealous. Looks like I know someone who woke up bright and cheery today. My your face looks so flush and pretty.
It happened to me once. Just once. But it was a very sexy dream.
I think it happened to me maybe once.

Jen M.
Nope, it never happened to me.
Yeah I think - problem is I'm still half a sleep enough that I'm not sure if I dreamed it later. I'm pretty sure it's real and I've had a few but I have no clue what would trigger it - if it's a dream I never remember it.

Yes indeedy! But half the time, I wake up on the verge, and it all goes away, and it's soooooo disappointing!
Maybe three times in my entire life.
One was so strange, too.
I was dating a man that I was absolutely, positively in love and lust with, but the dream involves a College professor and not the man that I absolutely adored.
Weird, huh?

Work it baby!
I wouldn't say I have them all the time, but often enough that I've lost count. LOL

Guess considering how much I travel and hang with people on this board, perhaps I shouldn't be admitting this. HA! But hey, the male equivalent is a wet dream, and it's quite natural and common.
Wow some lucky ladies here today..
NO I can't say I ever completed an actual orgasim from a Sexy dream.
I have woken up HORNY as all Hell and having to go pee right away
And later on I had to attack Hubby out of nowhere, lol ( he enjoys it)
But to actually Orgasim from a dream? I would have to say NOPE not yet, lol

Side note: My record of Orgasims in one sex session is "45"
No lie ladys, I can go all night long, lol
From childhood on, yes.

That's right Jo. Why should we be denied just because we are women?

I was surprised that this question is for the ladies only. Men have it too. I know that I've have it and quite a bit.

I think the reason it was asked about the ladies is because, on a mass scale, ladies tend to have a more difficult time even achieving an orgasm. And it happens less likely from simply dreams.

Whereas, with men, the wet dream discussion is usually part of sex ed and is considered to be a natural and common part of male puberty.

I also think because most people know men have them, but a lot of women don't know that other women do, it's not as common.... it's not always heard of. I know lots of women who never knew this could occur. I think she wanted to know if OTHER women had them, or if she was in the minority here.

I think in this case asking men the same thing has nothing to do with the point of the topic.

Exactly. We all know men get them frequently. Women on the other hand, not so much.

I wanted to find out if there were any others out there. I'm glad I asked the question. I had no idea there so many women that experienced the so-called "wet dream".
To be perfectly honest, I have never even shared the fact that I have had an orgasm in my sleep until this board!
It funny, many men that I have been around over the years, whether it has been school, work, social scenes, etc...I've heard men talking and joking about masturbation....but never any women.
It took me a while to admit to my mother that I masturbate. Now, who cares? We all know it's normal. Except for that one guy who had an alarm on his penis so that if he got aroused in his sleep, he would be awakened so he could masturbate. That's a little overboard.

Until recently, it's been taboo for a woman to discuss her sexuality. Sometimes, it still is.

Women are not supposed to be sexual beings. Sex and the pleasure that comes from it are only for the men to enjoy. That's why female circumcision (the slicing off of the clitoris at a very young age with no anaesthesia) is still common practice in many countries.
I thought everyone did. It seems like it would be a normal part of life, but I suppose if someone hasn't had orgasms while awake, doing it while asleep might be more difficult.
