Amen eslbee FTS of what women are "suppose" to do. I have always done exactly what I want to do. NO one ever tells me what I should do, or they will hear an earful of sass from me, lol. And especially when it comes to sex.
Which btw, everyone here has made excellent points on the subject.
Hmmmm, maybe I should go attack my hubby now

I don't usually visit this forum, but I think from now on I will. I'm learning way more here than sex ed class ever taught me.

Damn! That's unfortunate. I have no idea how many times this happens to me but I do know that I have woken up and enjoyed the experience. Maybe I should keep an orgasm diary to keep track. LOL

Yes, I have reached orgasm in sleep once, it woke me up. The funny thing is, I do occasionally have sex dreams, but that wasn't a sex dream. That was a really boring, mundane dream where I was shopping for groceries. Which is confusing...I don't love groceries that much.

I am so happy I found this thread to bump.
I can happily say for the very first time in my life (9-10-10) I had climaxed in my sleep.
It was such a vivid dream. Of course I won't go into any personal details here. But it is enough to say that YES I DID IT!
I came in my sleep! And for the very FIRST TIME! LOL
And I woke up remembering it all too, which is even better.
This is going to be a very good TGIF for me, lol.

Congrats, TW!
Referring to one of the previous posts about how women's sexuality was not discussed -- we are discussing some medieval literature, specifically "Sir Gawain and the Green Knight", and I gave them some notes on courtly love (basically, an outlet for women's romantic feelings, where a knight would devote himself to her, write love poetry, kiss her, sing songs of her beauty -- basically everything except actual sexual intercourse). Well, the students were just astounded, because "kisses lead to sex, everyone knows that".
Setting aside that non sequitur, I had to give them more notes on the history of sex! I had to tell them that it wasn't widely understood that women could even enjoy sex until the Kinsey studies of the 1950s, and the first physical orgasm (not a woman's face showing pleasure, but the actual mechanism) wasn't filmed until the 1990s. So, no, kisses did not lead to sex because (1) women were told they couldn't enjoy it, (2) because women "couldn't" enjoy it, men didn't have much practice, if any, in that area, and just did their thing, and (3) eventually the Victorians codify this to mean that decent women DID NOT enjoy it, and if they did, they were obviously loose women or women of little virtue.
They were shocked and astounded.
But more pertinent for this discussion -- here we are, in 2010, and we are still feeling a little hesitant about a discussion on arousal, and we have members who never knew it could happen, and others who at more mature ages (sorry, TW!) are only experiencing their first.......and why is this all still going on? I'm not saying we should advertise our arousals and climaxes, but I mean this stuff apparently isn't even on the map! I don't remember "wet dream" information for girls when I was young -- but yes, it was a part of a boy's education. What else is missing?

What else is missing? We are not teaching girls and young women that they have CHOICES and POWER in their sexual relationships and activities--including the CHOICE and the POWER not to HAVE any!

LOL OMG NO NO NO Let me clairify This was my very First WET DREAM!!! As is Sleeping and dreaming about sex. I would always wake up frustrated having never competed the act in my sleep.
When I am wide awake I can cum with the best of any 20 year old.
I have been having orgasims since I was 10 years old screwing my favorite pillow.
I am now 55 and I can still climax about 20 times in one session.
My record is 45 times after 2 solid hours.
I am very very multi orgasmic. And NOT new to arousal at all,

It would be a hoot, to be a fly on the wall to listen in on your class PG. Now that is one subject I would NOT be bored with.
