Hey all you cat mom's who live in the cold weather states
Looking for something great to buy for your furry babies this Christmas?
Look no further then your own drugstore and pick up a Heating pad.LOL
I swear I cannot get my cat to get off of his, lol
Boots as been glued to it ever since I brought it out for him last week.
Now he just spends his whole time in bed, on top of the heating pad
He will get up to eat & go potty.
But cause it has been so cold. He won't move off that pad for nothing, lol. He just loves it.
No he is not sick. In fact he is feeling loads better.
No more coughing and sneezing. So the shot filled with medicine did its job.
But since we do keep the house at 65º to save $ on heating bills
He has been glued to that pad, lol
But come summer time he will divorce the pad and move to the bay window. He did this all of last year too, lol
And yes once in a while I try to get him to play. But he puts the S in the word SLEEP, LOL

My old tom-cat use to love my heating pad. I use to leave it on low for him while I was at work. It was a heating pad for humans, but the people I use to house-sit for had a heating pad for cats. It emitted such a low amount of heat, it didn't even feel like it was on, but it was and their cat LOVED it!

That is a great idea. Our cats are total heat hogs. When I heated with wood one would crawl right underneath the stove. They'd all get so close that their fur was burning hot to the touch.

I think Dr. Foster's sells special heated pads for cats but it's probably cheaper just to get the humans kind.

Hey Cats if you do get the human kind. Which TRUST me is a lot cheaper then a cat or dog kind.
Just make sure it has a setting for LOW.. And to always use that setting.
I leave mine on all the time now for Boots. And he just loves it, lol
And it does not use up much on the electric bill either, so no worries there.
