I'm very appreciative when J mows the lawn - especially when it is hot out. I do it only about one time out of five and I'm grateful for the times he does it. So to me, mowing counts.
I also would not marry someone who doesn't cook - I've dated a couple of guys like that and found it somewhat mindboggling. It was like these guys expect that someone will come along and cook for them someday. Unless the guy can afford to take me out every night or buy prepared food then he'd better figure out how to use a frying pan because I believe in sharing the cooking.
