I was on vacation for 13 days. I can't complain about my in-laws. My brother-in-law finally has a girlfriend he wants the family to know. I was talking to her and she is 41, never been married and never wanted kids!! I was very happy to hear this. She would rather adopt a cat. My B-i-L and her are opposites, she is more extroverted than him so that either can be good or be a source of friction. So far it looks like they are good for each other. However, her parents seem to provide her with a lot of things, like a condo, so I hope she is not going to be a dependent nightmare materialistic wife or something like that.
My sister-in-law's husband I thought was a PNB, but spending more time with him I am worried. He didn't want B-i-L and his girlfriend to share a bed at their home since they aren't married, of course he has to protect the children from this. M-i-L and the girlfriend were offended by his attitude. Girlfriend in fact told us that they have not had sex yet(after 5 months)and she is still a virgin. M-i-L and I are still processing this news! DH suggested his brother bring a tent and stay in the yard! They reserved a hotel room instead, also the house has only 1 bathroom with 3 kids it's a pain.
Anyway, i did have a good visit. I hear wedding bells in the future.
