Little puppy can't roll over

I feel sorry for the little guy struggling like that. French Bulldogs are not born naturally nor are they bred naturally. It is all artificial insemination and Cesarean deliveries because of their hip structure and their large round heads, and also why they are very expensive puppies.

This puppy's legs are so short he can't use them to push himself over like a normal puppy could. If I had a French Bulldog puppy I would be helping him over and certainly not running out to video tape him in this position. It seems like a rather cruel video to me.
That poor dog. That is a cruel video, I agree completely. Cutie pie but sad for him.
I agree. I can understand watching him for a little bit, maybe 10-20 seconds, but not a whole minute. The poor puppy looks upset and he is making such sad noises. I would given him a chance to try for himself, and then helped him roll over.
Adopt, don't shop!

This is one excellent reason why breeding dogs, even by reputable breeders, isn't always best for the dogs themselves.

ITA. I'm studying to be a vet, and when I have my practice I will do my damnedest to educate people about shelter adoption. Both my girls were adopted after being abandoned and I adore them so much. It drives me crazy that people are still going to breeders and pet shops when so many wonderful animals already need homes.
It was cute for about ten seconds until you could hear the puppy growling softly (I'd growl too if I couldn't get up and you were filming me) and then it was just sad when it was crying. I don't understand why people breed animals that can't function on their own. I watched an episode of Life After People and the show said bluntly that the dogs who will survive without us will be the mutts, not the overly bred ones.
omg, that was just horrible!!!!!!!!!!!!! i'm heart broken that someone would sit there for THAT long while the poor thing was clearly in distress just trying to get up!!!!
Ugh, I hate that even reputable breeders can't be trusted. I like purebreds, but would only adopt because of the risks of genetic defects. My family has even had better experiences with shelter dogs than from breeders. We had 3 adopted dogs who were all very well-behaved and easy to train. Then we got a purebred from a relative and that dog was a walking disaster. It couldn't be potty trained and was a pain to handle on the leash no matter what we tried. We even took that dog to the same obedience class twice to try and get her trained better, but it didn't work.
