I'm looking forward to next weeks episode already. I just hope it stays watchable....I liked Desperate Housewives in the beginning, but it just got way to corny for me.
I've liked it so far. I wouldn't say I'm a fan yet, but I'm willing to watch a few more episodes before I really decide.
Thanks Koi & Beachbum I was so hoping I was not alone in watching this show. I love that Chris Noth plays a scumbag cheating hubby. As opposed to all the cop roles he use to play, lol
And I really like his wife too.
But, ITA I know what you mean. Its hard to get invested in a new show only for it to wind up in the dumpster. So I too am hoping it finds a following.
I never got into Desperate Houswives. But I do enjoy "The Good Wife"

I finally watched all the episodes I had recorded on my PVR and I really enjoy it. I didn't know what to expect but I do enjoy it.
I like how we learn more and more about the husband during each episode. I haven't seen last night's episode yet but I'm wondering about what the son found out regarding the photos of husband and the woman. He thinks they were photo shopped? I did not see the pilot episode so I don't know how it went down. Is he covering for someone? Someone higher up than him?
Good Question NKB I don't think so. How it went down originally is that he got caught having an affair and corruption of office. People around him thought he had a judge in his pocket. But when he did not make bail, that speculation went south.
So, I have no idea who is sending the photos and info to the wife. But the son is getting it instead, and Alishia has no idea whats going on.
I am not happy that the son is keeping info from his mother. She NEEDS to know what is going on so she can better prepare herself. But of course kids being kids, they don't THINK!
And of course I like the cases that Alishia solves too, lol

Well I'm in the UK so if it's new in the US we'll get it next year ha ha.
They are so big on advertising Samantha Who? here now. It just started playing a month or 2 ago, and I think it was already cancelled in the US at that point right?
So yeah... oh we are finally getting 30 Rock but not the first season I think they are starting with the recent season. I really can't tell.
They are so behind on The Office here too, but I've gotten away from liking that one too much.
Now the important shows like Lost, they are only usually a week behind.
Not to go off topic, but here in Canada, Bravo is airing season two of Dexter. Thank goodness I can get it on demand from the movie network and actually watch current episodes of season three.
So, he really was set up? Interesting. I hate that the Grandmother threw out the evidence that the kid was working on. Now he'll have to start from scratch and hope that the guy drops off more stuff.
With the computer out in the open now, how is he going to investigate without her knowing?
I hope this show is doing well in the ratings. I don't want it to be cancelled.

ITA I don't want it to be cancelled either But as of Nov 15th in the top 100 of the Nielsen Ratings The Good Wife placed #37
So that is not too bad. It could be worse, lol.

Why did Alishia come to her hubby and plant a big wet kiss on him and turn around and leave? Was that an " I forgive you kiss"? or a F.U Kiss?

I am very confused about her.. I know her hubby still loves and needs her. But what will she do next?

Anyway, This episode was mighty twisted. Imagine a judge sending kids off to detention so he can get Kick backs to help pay his gambling debt?
