So our office is finally getting our big kitchen back. We had to tear out drywall last winter due to water damage and mold issues. It has taken almost a year to get contractors (though when they started it has only taken a couple weeks of actual work)
The kitchen looks GOOD. And we will be getting new appliances today. (Everything in there was like 25 years old or older)
Not the PAM
One of my co-workers (not the one I normally bitch about) is all up in arms. There was a page a minute ago that if you had ANY food in the back area (where we moved the old fridge) to remove it immediately. Groovy. However, she put her lunch in that fridge and pitched a fit about moving it. We have another small fridge in a coffee area up front. It has been our main kitchen for almost a year. It is a little larger than most dorm fridges, but still a fridge.
Nope, she can't move her stuff. She called the head guy of the building maintainance to ask to leave her stuff in it.
Now what happens if the guy forgets to call her if the movers come before lunch. Or if the gals who have been on the committee go back to clean out the fridge and toss co-worker's lunch.
(We were told yesterday to remove everything. You would have thought she would remember and either plan to go out or bring her lunch in a insulated bag with an ice pack.)
