It looks (based on the tongue flicking) that the cat is just trying to get a drink from the faucet but doesn't do a very good job of it. My cat will do the same thing but only when I put on the tap at a drip, and he tends to tilt his head sideways so that he doesn't get too wet... but not always!

Your VERY Welcome Beachbum. And from what I can see he is enjoying his head getting wet, lol. If he wanted a drink he would have stuck his tongue out from a safe distance.

Use to do that in the bathroom sink.
I would turn it on, he would tilt his head in such a way to get a drink without getting wet.
I guess every cat is different, just like people, lol. But,
this cat made my DAY
