Thanks to all the regular users here for reporting the spammers in various threads. I don't see them often, so your reports really help, and I can ban them easily when you alert me to them.

Yes, as a former mod, please report them. We aren't always in every forum despite what you think and each mod has their own particular interests so a mod who loves questions and news may not visit the pets forum. Please call attention to the mods if a spammer or troll appears.
What with so many new members coming around How can you tell if one is legit or a spammer?????
Please advice, as I am not too sure of what your definition of a spammer really is?

Nine times out of ten, a spammer has a clickable link as their signature selling something, and whatever they contribute to the thread is negligible or nothing at all.
