DH calls it oinkmeal because it's so good you pig out.
This is for people who are bored with plain oatmeal. it works best with Irish oatmeal(the kind that cooks for 20 minutes).
Follow package instructions for proportion of water to oatmeal, then add your choice of dried fruit: raisins,prunes,dried cherries,dried apricots, etc, also your choice of nuts:walnuts,almonds,pecans,peanuts,etc. After it is cooked, you can add flax seeds that you have freshly ground, also cinnamon if you want. You don't need to add brown sugar or honey since the fruit has plenty of sweetness.
