A friend of a friend found a kitten in her back shed. She had him for about a month, in which time he went from skin-and-bones to a rambunctious cutie. Unfortunately she couldn't keep him (she has a dog, kids, and a husband who isn't a fan of cats) which is fair enough. I give her full credit for doing a good job with him! My friend knows that I foster so today I had a little delivery of cuteness!

He curled up in my arms when she arrived with him and didn't move from there until I sat down on the couch. He then crawled to the back of the couch and laid down next to my neck. He purrs like an engine, and is a complete sweet-heart.

He's about 9 weeks old, and he's a tuxedo kitty. There seemed to be some confusion about the previous photo, so here are some pics of the kitty that I just took. See the attached.

Of course I'm going away all week and won't be here. I have a neighbour who loves cats and she's coming over to care for him, so that works, but of all the bad timings!

I'm looking for a second cat so we'll see how this works out. Worst-case is that my colleague is also looking for a black cat so that might be an option too. He's such a sweet kitty that no matter what he'll find a good home. If Hillary likes him then that may be the deciding factor, because so far I really like him!
AWWWW...how could anyone NOT love these cuties?

OMG...so cute. I hope they get adopted together. It would be shame to split them up.
They are sooooooooooo cute Ziggy. I hope you can find a home for
them, Goodluck Dust Hug
Cool, love tuxedo cats. Congrats
"Cool, love tuxedo cats."

You would Tongue

Wink

My favourite is brown tabbies, but this guy's worth a bit of variation from my usual. We'll see what he's like after I spent some time with him, but so far I'm loving him!
So cute!!! He's adorable. Smile
What a cutie! Your friend did a wonderful thing rescuing him. It's been so long since I've had a kitten in the house!
He is SOOOOO Adorable!
Soooo cute!
How is he fitting in?
"How is he fitting in?"

I'm still not home so I don't really know, but my neighbour has been visiting him and loves him. He's in my spare (kitty quarantine) room so he's not able to mingle yet, and I won't know how well he fits in until I get home in a couple days.

I have decided to name him Maxwell, from Get Smart. He's a little tuxedo kitty but his markings are slightly dishevelled, and Max was always a bit of a klutz. He's too sweet and lovable to be a James Bond!
Maxwell, or Max, are great names!

Keep us posted!

DH and I have been discussing the possibility of a 3rd cat, but the timing just isn't right so I'll live vicariously through you if that's okay Smile
Maxwell is a great name for him. He is darling and you can tell he will be quite a handsome guy.

Tell your neighbor that they did a good job getting him filled out to proper kittenness.
