Well.......good things sometimes happen......
I just got news that all four of my submissions to the Festival of the Arts show were accepted.

That's great news! Congratulations!
I'm always in awe of people with artistic talent, because I have absolutely none! I don't know much about art, but I love your piece.
Congrats!
Watercolor of a watermarket scene in Thailand from a photo my husband took (this will be the 2nd show this one has been in because it was in the Muskegon show last year......I'm gonna squeeze all the mileage I can get out of this one!!):

I was a bit surprised the last two made it in because a lot of people wouldn't really consider them to be art and might not consider them because of that. Two of my instructors didn't get anything accepted.
Wow, I bet your instructors are jealous of you! It does happen, there's an amazing artist here in San Diego and his bio has a story about how he was getting gallery shows since he was very young, and while he was in college he was in a very prominent SF Bay Area gallery. As a result one of his art teachers in college was literally furious with him because he, the art teacher, had been trying to get his own work in that gallery for years and never could, and he made things very uncomfortable for the artist when he was a student. And that reminds me how my favorite art teacher at my university was basically ganged up on and hated by the rest of the art department professors because his work was in galleries around the world, and they were lucky to get their work in the professor shows at the school art dept gallery. They eventually made it so uncomfortable for him he had to quit and move on to teach at another school to get respect. The art school world is mean!!!
I hadn't seen your foreclosure work yet, I love it, especially the moon. Your sculpey works are art, too!
Despite not getting in, the instructors have been nothing but supportive. One of the instructors got one of his two submitted pieces in and he commented that he would have gladly given that spot up to get my drawing in.......of course he's by far my biggest supporter though.
Congratulations!!! That's so terrific. I love the Thailand scene.
