If you have time go down to Charleston. The beaches and city there are far better IMO.
Up by Myrtle is a place called Brookgreen Gardens. It's down toward Murrell's Inlet but quite close. Gorgeous place if you like gardens. However by the time you go a lot of things might be dead. It's so freaking hot and humid in the summer, and with the tourists and BREEDERS you'd be best to avoid July and August, if you can.

As a teenager my parents decided to do this and we did hit Charleston. Lovely city (take a tour if you can) although Fort Sumter was rather disappointing.

Yeah, Fort Sumter was OK. It was kind of cool to see something like that and I enjoyed the boat ride there. I love downtown Charleston though, just walking around and reading the signs about the houses are kind of neat. I suggest a tour too.

Thanks for the replies!~
I will check out Charleston if we can. My Mom's cousin is going to be calling the shots for the most part.

Did you see the news today? They're having horrible wildfires and several homes have been destroyed.

Yes I spoke with my Godmother, Today.
She mentioned fires, but she is ok.
Thanks for the update. Much Appreciated!
