Eli is... FOURTEEN today.

He went out in the snow, got annoyed and came right back in. Then I gave him birthday treats and now he's sleeping soundly atop the kitty condo. It's a good life.

Well this is why it's such a shocker he's as old as he is...
He's not an indoor cat. He goes out a lot. In the last few years he just hangs out in the doghouse on my back porch that I bought when Ziggy was visiting here once. But in the summer months he disappears for hours at a time, and I often see him in the back alley where Jackson got hit by a car and died. And he's NOTORIOUS for sitting in the middle of the street or slowly moseying across it.
It makes me CRAZY!
I wish he were an indoor cat. But he's really old for an indoor/outdoor cat, and every year I marvel that he made it another one. Most cats that go outside don't live past two or three.
Give him a huge hug and belly-rub for me. He deserves it!
Mostly I marvel at the fact that you can get a shot that solves all his sneezing and snorting problems. I'm so thrilled about that! He sounded horrid...

I know... it's pure MAGIC. I can't believe it. It only lasts 4-6 weeks, and by the end, he's sneezing and snorting pretty badly, but in the interim, he's just fine!!
As for the belly rubs, I'll tell you the same thing I told Paloma when she and Sasha send their rubs... Eli replies with a WHACK and a HISS! LOL He's not the friendliest cat on the planet, what can I say. And if you don't fit into his agenda, he really has no time for you. LOLOL
