I'm not a football fan by any means but I was amused to hear the people driving in their cars honking their horns and cheering with open car windows despite the sub-freezing weather.
Heh heh! Well, good for them!
Not surprised the Steelers won. I am surprised Arizona won.
I, too, was surprised at Cardinals - but then again, they had Kurt Warner helping. At least it is not an all-Pa. Superbowl (no slight meant to those in that state). When it is 2 teams from the same state, there does not seem to be as much draw. Personally, I'll root for the Cards.

Did you expect anything less? LOL Of course Steeler fans are so happy they will do anything in any weather, lol
I am just happy the Ravens lost.
That is a long story involving Browns Fans who was screwed over by Model and his Ravens.
But I won't get into that now.
I was rooting for the Steelers cause of how supportive they were to us Clevelanders when we did not have a team for a few years.
Because of Monster Model.
So :banana:yipppe for The Steelers
But I hope the Cards kick their ass, lol
After all I do still need to stay loyal to The Browns! Even though they sucked ass this year football wise, lol. For them Its better luck next year, lol
I am very glad that the Cardinals got in. They have never been in the Super Bowl. I think that they have never been in the old NFL championships either in all of the time they've existed.
I am a Patriots fan; and, there have been many times that the Patriots and Steelers have squared off to get into the Super Bowl. As far as the Chargers are concerned for me, I wish that they would leave town. They just might, so I've heard.
Pittsburgh won it all again. Congrats to them. But it sure sucks to
be a Clevelander. ( sigh )

many times? I can only think of 2 times they squared off to get in to the SB, and those were all this decade. both times the patriots won. I'd rather the Chargers stay put, it is nice to have an extra "home" game every year. it is funny when the Raiders play against the Chargers in S.D., the Chargers stadium is over ran with Raider fans.

I want the Chargers to leave because they want a new stadium and expect us taxpayers to pay for it. I don't think that I should have to pay for what they want.
It seems like at every home game, the other team's fans seem to outnumber the Charger fans. It's because so many people here come
from somewhere else and the Charger fans are "fair weather" fans.
When they are winning, you see the jerseys all over the place. Also the local news interview fans, and it would just insult your intellegence to watch it. When they are losing, you will not see jerseys and if you talk about the Chargers it's, "who are they?"
I live very close to Qualcomm Stadium and I hate it when they have the games there. I feel like the area that I live in gets taken over with the heavy traffic and weird people.
living close to a stadium would definitely suck big time. glad i live just far enough away from the coliseum that i never have to deal with the stupid crap, but still close enough that i can hop on BART and be there in no time at all.
depending on the package deals they put together, tax payers paying for a new stadium can be a great thing for the city. It can bring in much needed revenues, but as far as San Diego goes, i think they get enough tourists as it is without needing to draw with a sports team. But i will still stick to my wanting them to stay there, or maybe just stay close in general, just so we can continue to have that extra home game, rofl.
I do agree with you about charger fans being fair weather fans. for the LONGEST time i never saw a charger jersey, hat, nothing. then they started putting together winning seasons and making the playoffs and all the sudden there were hella charger fans. as soon as they started to go down, POOF, they all disappeared again, rofl. Glad i can at least say Raider fans wear their color whether the team is playing shitty or making playoff runs. Hell, most my life, the Raiders have been a below average team, but i still wear my Raider gear with pride. By the time i was old enough to really follow the game and understand it and really get interested in it, the Raiders glory days had already passed them by.
