Woman accused of trying to sell 'gothic kittens'
Pet groomer marketed felines with ear, neck and tail piercings on eBay

WILKES-BARRE, Pa. - Humane officers said a Pennsylvania woman marketed "gothic kittens" with ear, neck and tail piercings over the Internet. Officers with the SPCA of Luzerne County removed three kittens and a cat from a home outside Wilkes-Barre.

Officer Carol Morrison said the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals raided the home on Wednesday after getting a tip that the woman was selling the pierced kittens on eBay.

"It's unbelievable anybody would do this to kittens," Morrison said.

Charges are likely against the homeowner, whose name was not released.

Morrison said the woman has a pet grooming business in the basement of the home.

"I just spoke to an Officer at the SPCA in Luzerne County in regards to these three kittens. One of the kittens had to have their tail amputated and another had part of an ear removed. They will be able to live fairly normal lives but donations are happily accepted. This society is completely self-sustaining and paid for extensive care for these kittens and the mother cat."

Those poor kittens!! I hope this woman goes to jail. WTF was she thinking? I LOATHE animal abusers. I cannot imagine a lower form of life than someone who hurts animals.

OMG, i heard about this on the radio and was appalled!!! And people think we are crazy for not wanting to breed??? look at the monsters that are out there. that is someones daughter! and look what she turned in to. NO THANK YOU!!!!
