This is the time of year where people start receiving unwanted fruitcake as gifts. I happen to find this most maligned of desserts to be delicious and will gladly take it off your hands!
I don't have much stuff to swap since the hurricane took half of it, but I can probably dig up something to send you in return.
LMAO, this is the first time I've ever seen someone ASK for a fruitcake.
I never get any (thank fsm) but now I might just have to buy you one since I'm far too lazy to make it! lol

I'm pretty sure I asked last year too, so this should be the second time!
Please don't go out of your way to buy me one. I would rather help people who are burdened with unnecessary fruitcake that they received as gifts.

THANK YOU, Secret Santa! Someone from our board sent me a delicious fruitcake! I just got it yesterday. It's actually 3 different kinds of fruitcake in one package. DH, who normally hates fruitcak, actually likes it!

I am so happy it finally arrived. I am sorry It was not in time for your Christmas. And I am happy your DH likes it too.
My Bob just loves the stuff, lol. And he told me even people who hate fruit cake will love it too, lol.
I remember him telling me that a long time ago!
But anyway, I am very happy you BOTH enjoyed it. It was just a spur of the moment surprise for you. Cause I felt so bad for all the crap you went through with Hurricane Ike and all.
So, at least now you will have something sweet in your life to start 2009 out with.
