I created a subforum for Santa, it was pointed out to me that with the Santa login you could see the full board and post wherever, and since the ID/Password was shared here in the clear it made good sense to lock it down so that 'Santa' doesn't post anything naughty or get used by a non WKYN member outside this thread. Let me know if it isn't working right.

I guess I would consider myself a natural hedonist. What I mean by that is, I like scented candles, soothing bath salts, dark chocolates, and other yummy things, but I lean toward more natural products (but I don't feel like I must have organic). I'm an artist, and I love handmade things, especially if they are useful, like a plate, a bag, a hand knit washcloth. I am a fiber artist, and a knitter, so a fancy ball of yarn would make me really happy, especially in a natural fiber.

My new user name denotes the fact that I am now the proud mom of a 10 yo chocolate Lab we adopted on November 12, 4 days before my birthday. It's The Daily Coyote by Shreve Stockton, which is ironic since I had a frightening coyote encounter last night. But her website is fascinating, so I can't wait to read her story raising Charlie, her coyote rescued as an orphaned pup, in Wyoming.

I just now realised my SS said "No peeking" and I opened the first box anyway. Well, it was the day after my 40th birthday and all. But I just got my other present from my SS and I didn't think a thing of it and ripped it open with glee! Ooops! I should have waited for the Big Day, but, hey, it's all Winter Solstice to me! I'm sorry, though. I completely didn't see that I was supposed to have waited.
But I want to say this:

I got my awesome Daily Coyote book as mentioned in my post above, but today I also got a Lindt chocolate reindeer, a box of Three Dog Bakery yummy goodness treats for my pups, and a cute NK/Joy foamy Christmas Tree thingy that she made, and a nice card and a nice note!
And my puppies are VERY happy with the peanut buttery goodness, too!
