Anyone interested in doing the Ornament Exchange this winter? It's loads of fun every year, and a chance to flex your creative muscles. They don't have to be Christmas-y, they don't even have to be ornaments! We're pretty darn flexible!
What happens: Anyone who cares to participate sends me their snail mail address by a cut-off date (to be determined). I collect info and let participants know how many ornaments to make and where to mail them. In years past, there have been 5-8 participants, but never an overwhelming number.
So who is in? It's fun to figure out what to make, and also to see what other people have made. I love decorating my tree and saying, "Ah, this one is from Cats, this one is from Kirbs..."

Yes. I have been in a creative mood as of late and just ordered new pattern books. And have TONS of yarn and mesh. Count me in.

I completely forgot about the card exchange. I don't remember who organized it last year. I don't think it was me? We should definitely do it. Do you want to take it on?

I've been crazy busy and money is really tight right now, but ornaments are pretty cheap and I enjoy making them.
I'd also be up for the card exchange, I have a collection of Christmas cards and a very small family so I love having a much longer list of people who I know want the cards!
How about we sign up by Nov 24 so we can all know how many ornies to make, and everyone try to have their ornies in the mail by Dec 15.

My ornaments are not coming out like I expected (yes, I am avoiding other things and have started tonight!) but I think I can make do. I just hope they get to everyone in one piece!

But you must have different interests or likes or favorite animals or something. Maybe if there were dozens to do, but with so few, I would enjoy make one for each of you.
